We take photographs to accurately capture what we see. I paint to interpret - not reproduce - what I see. My paintings tend to be realistic and detailed. But I take artistic license to dramatize, simplify or combine different images and ideas together to tell a "story". See if you can identify the stories they tell...
Today, I paint with watercolor and acrylic. With watercolor, I can create paintings with fluidity, liveliness and spontaneity covering traditional as well as contemporary themes. With acrylic, I can create layered textures and greater realism.
I also do commissioned works especially on animals and human/wedding portraitures. When the project is agreed upon, I collect a small non-refundable deposit to start the work. If the client is not completely satisfied and happy with the painting, the client can just walk away without paying the balance. I will provide periodic updates during the painting process.

- Watercolor : Archival quality acid-free paper (resist turning yellow) and artist quality watercolor paints rated color-fast for over a century under museum conditions. I have also started painting on watercolor canvas (this is the most challenging so far)
- Acrylic : Primed canvas and artist quality acrylic paints finished with protective isolation coat and artist quality varnish
